The Benefits of Gut Health Testing With GI Map

Gut health testing with GI Map

If you struggle with persistent GI issues that won’t seem to go away, you may benefit from gut health testing such as GI Map.

Do you feel bloated before or after meals? Do certain foods not seem to sit right in your stomach?

Gut issues are NOT pleasant to deal with. At all. The symptoms can be debilitating, embarrassing, and painful. On top of that, it can be so difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s going on inside of your gut.

That’s where gut health testing comes in! GI Map is a way of testing what is going on inside your gut.

I have watched GI Map change the direction of people’s health over and over again. This is the reason I recommend it to so many of my clients!

It ends up being worth every second and penny invested to reclaim your health and see symptom resolution.

In today’s article, I will be breaking down what GI Map is, who can benefit, and a real client experience! Keep reading to learn more about how gut health testing can help you.

What is a GI Map?

A GI Map is a comprehensive stool test that is taken at home to gain insight into your gut microbiome. Your gut microbiome is the system of microorganisms within your gastrointestinal tract.

The stool test is done in the comfort of your own home. The sample is then shipped off and followed by a full report from your healthcare provider.

GI Map looks at:

  • Pathogens

    • Bacterial pathogens

    • Parasitic pathogens

    • Viral pathogens

  • H Pylori

  • Normal bacterial flora

    • Phyla microbiota

  • Opportunistic bacteria

    • Dysbiotic/overgrowth bacteria

    • Potential autoimmune triggers

  • Fungi/yeast

  • Viruses

  • Parasites

    • Protozoa

    • Worms

  • Intestinal health

    • Digestion

    • GI markers

    • Immune response

    • Inflammation

  • Antibiotic resistance genes

All of these factors can contribute to gut health and function. GI Map allows you to look at the full picture of what’s going on inside your gut.

Most of these organisms and markers would not be able to be seen or known externally! But they can absolutely contribute to symptoms and overall health.

Who Can Benefit From Gut Health Testing?

Now you may be wondering who should get a GI Map! A GI Map can be useful for anyone who is experiencing persistent GI issues.

Symptoms can include but are not limited to:

  • Bloating

  • Indigestion

  • Irregular bowel movements

  • Pain with an empty stomach

  • New food sensitivities

  • Extreme reactions to food after eating

If you feel like you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, you may want to look into getting a GI Map. So where can you get one?

You can access a GI Map through a healthcare provider that is familiar with the testing. It is important to find a provider that not only can order the testing for you but who can also create treatment protocols for you to address any findings.

A REAL Client Example

Next, I wanted to take the time to show you a real-life example of how GI Map can change your life! I had a client named Rita come to me with terrible gut issues and symptoms.

Her symptoms included: fatigue, insomnia, bloating, endometriosis flares, nausea, extreme cravings, no appetite, caffeine dependence, and extreme restrictions.

We ordered her a GI Map to dive deeper into the root causes of her symptoms. We discovered that she saw high levels of H. pylori bacteria, as well as other markers related to digestion and immune response.

After my treatment, Rita has been able to resolve her GI issues and repair her relationship with her body and food. Her GI markers improved drastically!

It took time, patience, and investing in her health. But now she is able to live her life with more freedom and better health! This can be you too.
